Loss of confidence, tilting and frustration: Post #4
Well since my last blog post, my confidence for whatever reason has out the window, and it has resulted in some terrible sngs. I played a whole lot of games on thursday when I had a day off, and for the most part didn’t hit money. I also played fairly well in another MTT that, yet again, I bubbled out of in 16th place, with final 10 getting paid. One thing I’ve finally noticed from all my note-taking is that I don’t get aggressive enough late, and my stack dwindles away as I wait for a premium hand. I also tried to satellite my way into the 10K on friday, but found myself with the short end of the stick with just about every race I took in the numerous games I played.
So much for reading about others’ successes, huh Fredrik (maybe, like you said, that’s a good thing?)
I’m glad I’ve had alot of stuff to do since thursday, which has kept me away from the tables, because I’m definitely still steaming. I need a break to get my mind off poker so that I can have a fresh start next week, or even on sunday.
On a side note, I’ve done the verification steps for setting up my Neteller account, and have deposited $75 into my account so that I can free up my small funds that are scattered at different sites. That’ll add a little to my main bankroll, which hopefully will give me a confidence boost knowing that I have more bricks to build my house with.
Here are my updated sng challenge stats:
Number of games: 26
Total bought in: $ 341
Total cashed out: $ 392
Total profit: $ 51
ROI: % 14.96
ITM: % 46.2
Bankroll: $ 1,483.68
