So I’ve decided to switch to no-limit games for awhile. I have a lot to learn there, and I feel that my limit play has become more and more automatic and therefore less and less interesting for me. Poker is only, almost only anyway, a hobby for me and therefore something that ought to be fun. Grinding out low limit shorthanded tables hasn’t been fun lately. So, time for a change of venue!

The decision was made on impulse (as most of my decisions are) the other night when I noticed that Ed Miller’s and David Sklansky’s new NL book was purchasable for PokerStars FPPs (I need to use those things for something, why not books?) so I ordered it. Expected delivery time: 4-6 weeks. That gives me about a month to try to get a feel for the game before I read the book, hopefully about 5k hands or so worth of experience.
