Confidence can mean everything
I’ve been sticking to my goals and playing a lot more this month in comparison to the last few months. I’d been on a really hot streak before that, stopped playing, and now with my return to playing I’ve been running just as hot, if not hotter.
Without ranting on, here are my stats for the month so far (which don’t even include the CCCoP omaha event win):
PT stats
Spreadsheet stats
Even with my terrible run on the $6.50s (experimenting with multitabling, won 1, lost 9), I’m still keeping %70 ROI. Fantastic, and completely unsustainable :D.
That $1 MTT was a super satellite rebuy to the FTOPS Event #3 satellite (in which I got really lucky, I might add). I won the ticket, and I’ll get a shot at the event in a $55 entry, 150-seat guarantee on the 13th which will be tons of fun. Not quite sure how I’ll handle playing in a $300 event should I win the next ticket.
Anyways, needless to say I’m teeming with confidence right now. I have accepted that I’ve gotten pretty lucky on top of playing well, but have also seen my share of bad beats as well.
I may be getting a little ahead of myself, but I’m also thinking of buying a new computer. Lo-Dog, a fellow canuck and member of CC, has helped me out with finding a nice solid desktop, but I’m now taking a peek at laptops too. I’ve just started college (first day went fine btw), and a laptop would really come in handy. Work has been slow with me missing all last week with a nasty lung/throat/sinus ordeal that had me coughing up lovely dark green stuff all day, but I’m back this week and remembering just how good the money is. I had an agreement with my landlord (ok ok, my mum) that I would pay room and board if I wasn’t working full time and/or in school, and now that I’m doing both I don’t have to pay rent so the money builds up quicker than I thought it would. That along with my great hotstreak I’m on, and seeing myself with a new pc by the end of the month isn’t so outlandish.
Cheers to running goot!
