I’m gonna try a quickie here since I tend to rant

My hockey team ended up winning our championship, a great way to end my hockey ‘career’ (I’m too old to play select anymore). We’re gonna have a team party at some bar in the near future which will be fun.

Work is good; I’ve been raking in what amounts to be half my bankroll with a single week of ~4 half days of work. Things are a little slow right now since the demand isn’t that big, but the money is still great (getting paid under the table = best thing ever).

School’s starting on the 7th of May for me; it’s only three hours a day for two days a week, but I’m definitely excited about it.

As for poker, April was probably the slowest month I’ve ever had. I only played about 10 tournaments, mostly STTs, and a couple hundred 50NL and 100NL hands. May should see more play, though. I’m getting that urge to play that I haven’t had in a while. Hopefully I stick to my goals a little better than last month.

Sorry for the lack of interesting posts lately; no poker means no experiences to share with you guys or to discuss. I’ll hopefully have some juicier stuff this month.

Well, I’m off to cash a fat cheque and buy Zen and the Art of Poker; maybe I’ll drop off my twisted bike too.
