I Didn’t Wanna.

But I did.

I clicked.

And I played. And then I got some bad beats. And then the absolutely worst thing happened: I went on monkey tilt. I spewed chips. I made bad call downs. I bluffed opponents who wouldn’t dream of folding 2-2 unimproved on an ace-high river.

Long story short, I dropped $900 pretty quickly. Half of it was bad beats. Half of it was tilt. Half of it was just bad luck. The fourth half I don’t know where it went, because I’m not good with keeping track of how many halves there are. My worst fear, that I’d lose, ended up becoming exactly what happened. I’m not sure how I’ll recover from this, but I at least know that I won’t be playing any more poker in this apartment. Maybe if I focus on believing that it’s the apartment that jinxes me, I’ll do great next time?

Next time. In our new house. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

I told you I didn’t wanna. Why did I? Nobody knows.

  3. It doesn’t top the list of highest loss in one day, but it’s close. How I wish I had played Civ IV instead, heh.
