I realize now that I’ve set up virtually impossible-to-meet goals for myself this month. Playing 10k hands of 5/10 AND clearing the latest Party reload bonus AND playing in a couple of MTTs, and doing this the same month that we’re moving into the house is going to be tricky. Add to this that we’re going away for three days now (to visit my parents) and you see that, barring me taking time off of work to play poker, these goals will have to be left unfulfilled.

Lori - who’s a teacher - has had this week off, so she’s spent most of it packing stuff and taking apart IKEA furniture. All the movies, books, most - well, all, really - of the liquor cabinet, all the computer games and computer manuals that go in an office, together with all our CDs and…

Well, this is what our guest room looks like today, anticipating the Move. That’s about half our “stuff,” not including the big pieces of furniture like dining room table and chairs, couch, livingroom table, rugs, clothes, bed… Moving is a lot of work. I kinda wish someone would just wake me up when we’re done, heh.

There’s preciously little for me to say at this point, besides to wish you all a happy easter and to drive safely if you’re going out of town.
