I haven’t been playing too much lately, but the games I have been playing have yielded some great results. Since my last blog entry, I’ve played in a bunch of SnGs and MTTs, but have taken to the $15 turbos on stars especially. I have to admit that I’ve been a pretty big card rack the last few days, but it’s resulted in some nice placings and $$$ in the bank.

I’ve also started multitabling (two tables only, please!) them and have had good results. I think the fact that 1) It keeps me busy enough not to start watching TV or checking cardschat, and 2) It keeps my play simple since I have enough time to patiently wait for a solid hand to play, have really had a good effect and I think I just may stick to two tables from now on when playing SnGs.

I placed in a couple of MTTs, but only with tremendous luck and I didn’t really place high enough to make any significant dough. One thing that I’ve noticed, though, is just how profitable playing the $26 MTTs on Full Tilt can be if you satellite in via the $8.70 turbos. I’ve so far won tickets in 6 of 10 attempts (5 of 18 get tickets), and I’ve done fairly well in the MTTs that I’ve played with these tickets. Even if you don’t make a final table, flipping $8 into $50 for about 3 hours work isn’t too shabby.

Anyways I hope that my new PokerTracker guide is of some help to the PT newbies who may read it because to be honest it was a pain in the @ss to write. Don’t ask me why, but I tend to rant and rant when I write, so it was really hard making it as simple and straight-forward as possible.
