Blogging in Beijing
I arrived in Beijing, China, yesterday after a 19-hour trip that included involountarily being re-routed to Shanghai, getting paid €600 cash for the inconvenience, and then getting bumped up to business class for the long trip. Things could have turned out worse.
I’m here on business, so there won’t be all that much time left for site-seeing, but I will try to make it to the Forbidden City and some other places this weekend. I’m here with three coworkers who have all been here before, so I’m getting some guidance around the town, I hope. I’m also told that Beijing rocks for shopping, so I’ll try to spend some money, too.
Are there poker rooms in Beijing?
